1. Identify Yourself – Name, Address, Phone Number.
2. Type of Crime – Suspicious person (s), vehicle(s), etc.
3. Where is it – name of building or landmark if no address can be given.
4. Description of Suspect(s) and/or Vehicle(s). Be Specific.
5. Direction Which the Suspect(s) and/or vehicles were Traveling.

iWatchHarrisCounty is a mobile crime watch tool that you and your neighbors can use to report suspicious or criminal activity. It’s a proactive, hands-on, partnership between you, the citizens of Harris County, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).

With the recent drought Oakwood Glen has lost over 100 trees in the front and back parks. For everyone’s safety we have hired a contractor to remove the trees and debris. While cleaning the back park up the contractor found and killed a very large snake. Please supervise your children playing in the back park.

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

The Harris County Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Facility is located in the northwest area of Harris County at the Harris County Multiuse Facility.
Residents of Harris County who reside outside of the incorporated City of Houston limits may use the facility to properly dispose of hazardous items in their homes that they no longer want. City of Houston residents and other local non-Harris County residents can click here for information about other local collection programs.

Items accepted at the HHW facility include, but are not limited to household cleaners, yard/automobile products, pool chemicals, paint and paint related products, batteries, tires, items containing mercury (e.g. mercury thermometers, Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFLs), and fluorescent tubes), aerosols, and small and BBQ size propane cylinders.
The Facility does NOT accept the following items: electronics, traditional recyclables (paper, cans, plastic), any items used for business purposes, medical and biological waste, explosives (including ammunition and firecrackers), compressed gas cylinders, radioactive waste (including smoke detectors), household appliances such as washers, dryers, freezers, air conditioners, heavy trash or household trash.
